February 2025 Release Notes

-New left navigation is live. Learn how to use it-

February 28th, 2025

Overview

The Replies counter in Buyer Signals was taking several hours to update and display the correct number of replies and is now fixed.
A new Email Sync setting has been created that allows sync to ignore event invite and confirmation emails.
A couple more fixes were implemented for Calendar Sync and Calendar Sidebar.

Enhancements:

Email Sync - Event email sync behavior

  • Some customers prefer to not sync the invite and confirmation emails from meeting invites. We have accommodated this requirement by adding a new setting.

This new setting is called “Process All Folder Items”. This setting is not visible by default and will require contacting support to enable it for your account.

When the setting is enabled, we will ignore calendar invites and confirmation emails on sync. The setting will be located at the bottom of the Filter section in Email Sync Settings.

Fixes:

Sidebar Buyer Signals - Reply Tracking (beta)

  • In some circumstances the Replies counter would not update for several hours making it appear as if there were no responses to the email.

A fix was implemented to ensure we process responses as soon as they are detected and increment the Replies counter correctly.

Calendar Sync - Outlook Service Account

  • In rare circumstances when a user is on an Office 365 service account connection and forwards an invite email to another sync user, the organizer can appear as empty resulting in sync not knowing which person to sync to.

A fix was implemented to ensure we successfully capture the organizer of the event so it syncs successfully.

Calendar Sidebar - Creating Event

  • When creating a new event the sidebar can sometimes fail to load when opened during event creation.

A fix was implemented to ensure the sidebar successfully loads when opened during event creation.

Overview

Several fixes were implemented related to Email Connection status alerts, filing events, and admin dashboards

Fixes:

Email Connection - Broken Connection Notification (Gmail Only)
  • When a user’s email connection breaks, our system should send users an email notification with a button to reconnect their email account, however that email has not sent successfully in some cases.

A fix has been implemented to ensure the email is successfully sent when a user’s email connection breaks.
Sidebar - Filed Events (O365 only)
  • A bug was discovered that results in All Day events not being filed to Salesforce.

A fix was implemented to ensure All Day events are successfully filed to Salesforce.
Sidebar - Filed Events (Google only)
  • A bug was discovered that results in All Day events being filed with the previous day’s date instead of the date on the event.

A fix was implemented to ensure All Day events are filed to Salesforce with the correct date.
Admin Dashboard - Sync Status
  • A bug was discovered that resulted in user sync status not being accurately displayed.

A fix was implemented to ensure we’re showing the correct sync status for each sync type, Email, Calendar, Task.

Overview

Several enhancements and fixes were applied to the new left nav, scheduling features, and Signature Capture.

Enhancements:

  • Dashboard - Support for White labeling

The new dashboard navigation displays the Cirrus Insight logo by default and can be updated to display the org’s logo when the white label feature is enabled for the org. An update was made so orgs who prefer to have their logo shown in the dashboard navigation can request to have the feature enabled. For best results orgs should use a square logo image and upload it to the Org Profile page.
  • Scheduling - One Click Booking

The One Click Booking provides a lot of capabilities and we want to ensure users have as much context as possible when using this feature.

A new tooltip was added to the One Click Booking feature.

Fixes:

Sidebar - Signature Capture

  • The Phone field was being partially covered by the phone number type field.

The UI has been updated to the one number type drop down shows below the number.

Scheduling - Team Scheduling

  • When Team Scheduling was disabled, some of its elements were still visible.

The feature was updated to ensure that no elements related to Team Scheduling are displayed in the sidebar.

Dashboard - Billing Page

  • The new dashboard experience was missing the warning banner that lets admins know their plan is expired.

A fix was implemented to restore this banner.

Overview

Email Sync and Calendar Sync have received some minor updates to improve the behavior under certain circumstances.

Enhancements:

Email Sync - Self CCing doesn’t create duplicate record
  • When a user would CC themselves on a response, Email Sync would sync both the sent version and inbox version of the message resulting in duplicate records in Salesforce.

The sync logic has been updated so we only sync the sent message and ignore the inbox version.
Calendar Sync - Attendees no longer removed upon reschedule
  • In very specific circumstances attendees of the parent event can be deleted if an existing event is created by a non-sync user and then updated by a sync user after the non-sync user reschedules the meeting.

An update was made to Calendar Sync to ensure attendees are not removed in this scenario.
