Sidebar People tab now supports Compact Layouts
Introducing expanded Contact and Lead preview cards in the People tab
A new org setting called "People Tab Contact Display" has been added that allows Cirrus Insight administrators to define how many fields of the compact layout are displayed, up to 5 fields, not counting the contact or lead's name. By default we will show 1 compact layout field:

The sidebar will display these fields in the order that is configured in Salesforce's Contact and Lead compact layout editor:
Result in the Sidebar:
As you can see there are 6 fields in the layout configurator including the Name field. The Name field has no affect on the layout in the sidebar. The compact layout updates are reflected in both the preview cards and related lists view of leads and contacts:
If you remove the name field from the layout or move it to a different position, we will still show the contact or lead's name in the same place within the people card:

How to adjust field position and visibility:
If the administrator changes the number of fields to be shown, you will need to reload your email client to see the change.
If you want to see a different selection of fields in the sidebar, ask your Salesforce administrator to modify the compact layout for the contact or lead object you're wishing to adjust.
Once the layout has been updated in Salesforce, you will need to refresh the sidebar. To do this, open your sidebar, click the hamburger menu at the top left and click Refresh Cirrus Insight.
Once complete, reload your email client and the new layout changes will be visible:
