It’s certainly not news that Cirrus Insight integrates with Gmail. Since so many sales teams use Gmail, we’ve spent a lot of time perfecting this integration and keeping it up-to-date.
What you might not know? Cirrus Insight also integrates with another popular email application—Outlook.
Up until now, this integration has been somewhat limited. Users could use Cirrus Insight features in tandem with certain aspects of Outlook. Now, we’re taking things to the next level and making things official—Cirrus Insight officially supports Office 365!
As of this publication, you can now use Cirrus Insight with Outlook—in the cloud. No longer must you watch on in jealousy as your friends with Gmail save hours each day automatically syncing activity to Salesforce.
Cirrus Insight offers two separate applications for Microsoft products: one for people using Outlook on their Windows desktop and Office 365 for users who are connecting to Outlook on the web. Office 365 is essentially Microsoft’s version of Google Suite—a hub for many different collaborative apps in the cloud.
Office 365 apps work seamlessly on the web and inside of Outlook (for Windows and Mac) desktop apps, which means that the old way of doing things has become a little less complicated for everyone.
